Chelmsford, modern family garden

This family were looking to re-design their back garden, with the aim to make both look great and work better for their two sons. This meant creating a garden that appealed to their modern tastes, low maintenance and essentially with a large space for play.

We decided in this circumstance an artificial lawn would work well, to be honest on many levels they aren't something we advocate but if a client is very keen and it fits the brief as in this case we will fit them. Especially when we can offset them with planting of new plants and trees.

As well as the large lawn the garden featured raised rendered flower beds that provide that clean look and make the beds at a height that's easy to work on. Coupled with simple paving, cedar features and lighting it's a simple but classy garden.
